I have concluded that 3 things are to blame for the dwindling numbers I noticed at the 2017 CBA Concours d’Elegance. The lack of a carpooling culture, Nairobi traffic thanks to the Ngong’ Road expansion, people not wanting to hail a cab because of the intimate relationship with their cars, and… (Oh wait, it’s 4 things) The Elections!
For the 6th time in a row, the Commercial Bank of Africa have been title sponsors of the classiest motor event in the Kenya Motor Sport Federation calendar.
The 47th edition was held on Sunday the 24th September at the Ngong’ Racecourse in Nairobi.
The event organized by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club was themed ‘Beauty and the Beasts’ and had a combination of vintage automobiles and bikes with entrants coming from as far as South Africa to take part.
