Renault Kenya has unveiled the new 2019 Renault Duster to the Market. The French brand’s 2019 model now enters a hotly contested local segment comprising of other brands in its category. With the New 2019 Duster, Renault kept all the components which worked well in the previous generation that made the model the best model in the Renault Range. Renault wants to appeal to the customers who have higher expectations, who aspire to more status and therefore the 2019 Duster is more than just a capable off-roader, it is a premium city dweller too.
With a revolutionary 1.6 litre petrol engine and a state-of-the-art exterior redesigned with a wider stance, new lines and new folds which make the car more imposing, the New 2019 Duster remains a Duster, tough and capable, but it is now a perfectly suit for a city dweller with its fuel economy of up to 22 km/litre. The new model is now available in 4×4 (manual) and 4×2 automatic.
Speaking at the launch of the car, Renault Brand Manager, Jonathan Dos Santos said that this new generation of Duster will allow Renault to tap into new market segments and he is very confident about significant growth for 2019 and 2020.
“The enhancements in the 2019 Duster perfectly complement the New Duster, while it retains its iconic crossover style body shape, this is one of our best models and has a great history in global markets”, Jonathan said.
The interior of the New 2019 Duster shares many features with some of its competitors from superior segments: 7” touchscreen infotainment system, navigation with Kenya maps, automatic air conditioning, soft touch piano key dashboard and keyless access
The New Duster comes in a very competitive price compared to vehicles in its category. Renault Kenya has also partnered Stanbic Bank to finance up to 100% on a repayment period of up to 60 months. In addition, customers purchasing the Duster will enjoy a discounted facility fee of 1.5%.
